Hi all,

I thought Compaq had fixed the problems with the confusion with timezones
in Australia, but it appears that in 4.0F + PK1, it's broken again.
Sometime over the weekend our clocks got set back an hour on all of our
4.0F boxes. Our 4.0D boxes were unaffected as was our 5.0 box. The
following is an extract from the /etc/zoneinfo/sources/australasia file in
a 4.0F box:

# Rule NAME FROM TO TYPE IN ON AT SAVE LETTER/S
.
.
Rule AN 1987 max - Oct lastSun 2:00 1:00 -
Rule AN 1988 1989 - Mar Sun>=15 3:00 0 -
Rule AN 1990 1995 - Mar Sun>=1 3:00 0 -
Rule AN 1996 max - Mar lastSun 3:00 0 -
.
.

Which looks to me like daylight savings should start on the last Sunday in
Oct and end the last Sunday in March (which I think is correct). I've
re-"zic"ed the file, to no effect.

Any suggestions?

Andrew
