Hi !

Thanks to all the persons who have responded. I can't list all of them
in this summary. I apologize for possible errors in the summary.

Bellow are some responses. The sender of each message is listed before
the mailing list name that person gave.

Christophe.

--------------------- LINUX MAILING LISTS ----------------------

#######################
From: "F.M. Taylor" <root_at_uranium.indstate.edu>
server-linux_at_netspace.org
Send an email to listserv_at_netspace.org with 'subscribe server-linux' as body.

From: "Wreski Dave (tel1dvw)" <tel1dvw_at_ups.com>

The list at linux-admin_at_vger.rutgers.edu is probably the best place for
this. You can still post without subscribing, but if you'd like to
subscribe, send a message to majordomo_at_vger.rutgers.edu with "subscribe
linux-admin" in the body of the message.

#######################
From: "Toby A. Rider" <tarider_at_argyll.wisemagic.com>

I'm hosting a list called linux-enterprise. You can subscribe by
sending email to majordomo_at_argyll.wisemagic.com with a message body of:
subscribe linux-enterprise

#######################
From: Bryan Rank <bryan_at_compgen.com>

You could try ale_at_ale.org
mail majordomo_at_ale.org with "subscribe ale" in message body.
I like it. The LUG in Atlanta was the start, so there is a fair amount
of "Atlanta GA-centricities", but lots of people from all over.

unix-athome_at_legba.corp.sun.com

From: Ian Mortimer <ian_at_physics.uq.edu.au>

There's a new list which you might find helpful: the RedHat
kickstart-list. This is something you'll probably find
useful if you're going to be configuring hundreds of machines.

To subscribe send a note to kickstart-list-request_at_redhat.com with
a subject line of "subscribe".
