I searched the archives and found similar questions but no summaries on this
issue.

When I first logon onto my AlphaServer running Tru64 4.0D Unix, I get the
following messages in my Console log:

Couldn't open console
Warning: Missing charsets in String to FontSet conversion
Warning: Cannot convert string "-dt-interface
user-medium-r-normal-s*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*" to type FontSet
Warning: Missing charsets in String to FontSet conversion
Warning: Cannot convert string "-dt-interface
system-medium-r-normal-s*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*" to type FontSet
Warning: Missing charsets in String to FontSet conversion
Warning: Cannot convert string "-dt-interface
system-medium-r-normal-s*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*" to type FontSet

And when I open an application like "xload" from a command prompt, I get the
following message at the command prompt:
Warning: Missing charsets in String to FontSet conversion
Warning: Cannot convert string "-dt-interface
user-medium-r-normal-s*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*" to type FontSet

TIA
