[Summary] : High collisions. [New Problem] : Performance sucks.

Thanks to everyone who replied...

This problem is normally down to a duplex problem.

Not so in this case, here it seems to be a simple overload problem :(

Upgrading the card to 100Mb has got rid of the collisions, but leads me to
a new problem...

Even with the 100mb card our FTP performance is terrible, even under the
simplest of network configurations (FTP Server -> 100Mb FD switch ->
Client) we only see 60kb/s transfer rates and its very 'bursty'

I don't think this can be an FTP daemon problem (wuftpd v 2.6) as using
loopback works OK...

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks,

Jonathan
