CPU cards wanted for PB73 1000A/Tru64 4.0D

Greetings.

Just thought I'd throw this out to the list. We're trying to hold
onto our venerable old 1000A 4/233 (a PB73B) and might want to purchase
a second-hand CPU card with something faster on it. Our local hardware
guru commented that the machine is woefully out of balance (vmstat
reports indicate our CPU should be a lot faster) and that 1000A's can
take up to 500MHz cards (ev5, I would assume).

While I'm at it, we'd also like to put a second SCSI controller in there,
to support a string of older narrow disks. I'm told that COMPAQ/Digital
no longer has the KZ-PAA-AA (fast narrow) controller available, so I've
obtained quotes on a not-really-necessary KZ-PBA-CA (ultra2). Anyone
have an -AA out there, as well?

Cheers. I'll summarize anything relevant to users in general.

Chris
