Thank you to all who replied.

The concensus is

- This is normal for that particular tape drive.
- Only use the lowest LUN and you should be OK.
- One had had problems under True64 5.0, but not
  under 4.0D

The original question is reproduced below.

-----Original Question-----

Hi,

For reasons of history being revisited, I have been asked to
graft an Exabyte 8200 onto one of our Alphas.

It seems to have been picked up and I have been able to retrieve data
using rmt2h, but have yet to verify it.

My question is: -

Should the tape drive be showing up on each LUN ? and if not, what do I do
to fix it ?

We are running True64 4.0D BL13.
