SUMMARY: Routing question

Thanks to Nikola Milutinovic, Roger Leonard, Mitch Kulberg, & Wendy Fong for
their help with this.

What I did was this:
On the DU box on Network B, I added this to /etc/routes "-net NetworkA
NIC_For_NetworkB"

On one DU box on both Networks, I enabled IP forwarding using "netsetup" and
choosing choice 2 "Enable/Disable Network Daemons and Add Static Routes". I
had first tried Roger's advice and used iprsetup to enable IP forwarding,
but this was reset with a "rcinet restart".

On my PC, I added the IP of the DU box from the previous step as an
additional gateway.

Now I can communicate between my PC and boxes on Network B.

Thank you,

John

-----Original Message-----

I have DU boxes on two networks (say Network A & Network B). My PC is on
Network A and for most of my DU boxes, are on both networks. However, a
couple of my boxes are only on Network B. What would I have to do so that
those DU boxes would be able to route packets onto Network A? The reason
I'm asking is that I'd like to be able to use the GUI administration tools
from my PC for those DU boxes only on Network B.

Thanks,

John
