Well!
Finally got it fixed. Thanks for all the suggestions. After checking the
one email file in /var/spool/mail it did not appear to have anything wrong
with it. I even appended it to my mail file and could open it with no
problems. Pine even works on the acct that appeared bad.
My next solution was to backup the file, delete the account, recreate the
account, append the old file to the new mail file, and ..... still did'nt
work.
Well, I finally did an ls -al on the /var/spool/mail directory and found a
file named .westnet.pop that was 21M in size. The mail file, westnet, was
only 740K+ in size. I renamed the .westnet.pop file and the pop3 services
for westnet started working again!!
Will keep that solution filed away for later use.
