Hi evevrybody.

I have a 4100 box with 1.5GB. The application running on it uses a progress
relational database.
I want to use a lot of shared memory for those databases (approx 500MB).
The ubc-maxpercent parameter in vm subsystem is set to 100.
I wonder if I should (could) decrease it to something like 40, 50 in order
that the UBC don't try to reclaims the pages of the shared memory segments
used by my databases.
Do you know of any PRO/CONS on the ubc-... parameters.

Kind regards,
