I am trying to install StorageWorks Command Console Agent 2.2 on an ES40
cluster connected to a HSG80.
I have set the command console LUN (CCL) in the HSG80 and it appears on
the system and has created devices in /dev.
scu: Device: HSG80CCL Bus: 10, Target: 0, Lun: 5, Type: Direct Access
/var/adm/messages: vmunix: rzf80 at scsi10 target 0 lun 5 (LID=7)
(DEC HSG80CCL V85F) (Wide16)
When I run /usr/opt/SWCC/scripts/scanbus it doesn't seem to detect the
CCL
Controller type : HSG80
EMU type : Smart
F/W Version : V85F
This serial no. : ZG93609299
Other serial no.: ZG93609276
CCL : disabled
Devices : rrz80c rrzb80c
steamd also displays errors such as
steamd[4120]: Device rrzc80c is reserved and cannot be statused by
steamd.
If I make all the shared storage available on one system by failing over
disk services it seems to work better, however not by using the CCL.
Why won't it detect the CCL? And just what is the recommended way to
run SWCC on TruCluster?
Thanks for any info,
