procedure to fill a disk with "1"s

Dear Managers:

Sorry for this, perhaps, dumb enquiry:

I´m testing some disks ( LSM volumes)
and I need a procedure (program, utility, etc, whatever is available)
to fill the whole size of the disk (2GB, 4GB, 9GB LSM volumes )with "1"s.

I need to make sure that no ZERO "0" is stored
in any bit in the disk space.
