I want to replace a 2gb hard disk with a 9.1gb hard disk on our Alpha
2100A running DU4.0d (storageworks shelf is full). The following is
what I perceive as the steps necessary to do this. Am I forgetting or
overlooking anything?

1 - backup entire disk to tape
2 - unmount filesets on 2gb disk
3 - remove filesets on 2gb disk (rmfset domain fileset)
4 - remove file domains on 2gb disk (rmfdmn domain)
5 - power down
6 - remove 2gb disk and install 9.1gb disk into storageworks shelf.
7 - power back up
8 - MAKEDEV ?? (not sure if this step is necessary or not)
9 - repartition drive
10 - add file domain back (mkfdmn)
11 - add fileset back (mkfset)
12 - vrestore from backup

Question: do i need to worry about the /dev/rz files? will the system
recognize this is a new device and rebuild them or do i need to rebuild
them with MAKEDEV??

thanks! I will Summarize responses.
