SUMMARY: Replacing a scsi advfs hard disk

The initial question is posted below. First thanks to everyone who
responded, there were far too many to list them all here. It seems that
the basics of what I have below is fairly complete however:

many said that I need to do a disklabel -z and a disklabel -w once I
have rebooted.
others also said that I dont need to do a MAKEDEV as the machine already
knows where
     devices are.
it was also suggested that I dont need to wipe out the data on the old
drive with a
     rmfdmn and rmfset either.
the last suggestion was to let the system take care of everything by
putting the new
     disk into an available slot and use the Advfs Utilities to migrate
the data to
     the new disk.
