Subject: joind not correctly responding ?

Hello Managers,

running here a DU 4.0e PK1 with joind started. Using no bootb , try just to
use plain DHCP for people which travel al lot with their laptops. In the
secrity settings of xjoinc the clause: "Restrict to Known MAC Addr." is set to
 false.

So i would expect joind to respond to any DHCP request.

Had the case this morning on a NT-4.0 WS where we did a ipconfig /release and
an ipconfig /renew.

The ipconfig output on NT was all set to 0.0.0.0 after the ipconfig /release.

With the ipconfig /renew the thing timed out. Checking daemon.log, saw the
following :

<DATE> <HOSTNAME> /usr/sbin/joind[<PID>]: DHCPDISCOVER from HW address <MAC
address> network not administered by server.

What do i miss there ??

If i do the same thing (asking for IP-Adresses) form NT WS which where
previously in the same subnet, DHCP/joind seems to work fine and spents the
address !

Mit freundlichen Grüßen
