Using CUPS with printers connected using LAT

Dear all,

I would like to install the Common Unix Printing System, version 1.0.5,
on my machines running Unix 4.0f. When browsing through the CUPS
documentation I haven't found any hints on how to configure printers
connected using the LAT protocol. As you certainly know the printcap
entry for such a printer requires the ct=LAT characteristic be set, but
printcap is not used together with CUPS.

Does anyone out there know how to do it (switching to lpr/lpd is not an
option at the moment)?

Regards

Peter
