SUMMARY: tape block size problem

Hi
The tape was readable and accesible. I used dd and able to read it with vi.
The problem of read failed was caused by Informix incompatibilities or
something like that, not the tape or the unit itself.

I solved the problem by using an NFS drive to export/import, instead of
using the tape.

Hi
I have a DS10, Tru64 4.0F, the latest pk6, and Informix database.
We are trying to copy Informix databases by using the dbexport command from
a SCO UNIX server.
We are using the same tape unit, TLZ09, on both servers.

I was able to set the block size on the SCO UNIX server to 512 block size
with the tape command and the dbexport works.

But using the dbimport command on the DS10 with the option of blocksize of
512, I got read failed.

Is there a way to display and set the tape block size in Tru64?
