Hi Tru64 Colleagues...
First, Thanks to Graham Van Epps, John Speno, and K2 for their responses
to my original question.
As a follow-up to my previous question (building Openssl 0.9.5a on Tru64).....
Due to Compaq C licensing it appears I needed gcc on my Tru64 server to do
the build. So, I have retrieved the gcc 2.9.5 source and tried to build it.
Although there seem to be no errors in the configuration, the build blows
up with the following error...
unresolved
ASM_FILE_START
which is a call from toplev.c.
None of the GNU readme docs or FAQ's indicate any special problems or
config options required to build gcc on Tru64. I think I must be missing
something very obvious here, but I am not sure what.
Has anyone else seen this error?
Thanks!
Regards,
Jim
