Hello...
I am currently running DEC UNIX 4.0D on a AlphaServer 2100. It has a
3-channel EISA RAID card in it that I'm going to replace with a
3-channel PCI RAID card (KZPAC-CB). There are 5 JBOD's on it and 1
5-disk
RAID array on it. I'm doing this to go to 5.0A since the EISA
controller is
retired in 5.0x.
My question is what would be the proper procedure for doing this?
Can I just physically install the card, move the SCSI cables and then
run the SWXCRMGR utility from ARC? Would I need to build kernel support
for
it first?
Thanks in advance...
