Installation Cloning - RIS: "vfs_mountroot: cannot mount root"

Hello Managers,

I have setted up my first RIS-server and now I want to use
the installation cloning.

The machine with RIS services and the OS to be installed are both Tru64 4.0F.

I īve read the docs "Sharing software.." and Appendix C of "Installation Guide"
My RIS-Area contains on local disk an unpacked OS-CDROM,
I have made a profile set and registered the client for this profile.
Also there is in the profile set an install.cdf and a prepare script to setup
my own partition scheme. All files have modes 755 (like in the docs).

When I boot via ethernet, everytime the client crashes with messages:

Booted from Network Interface (BOOTP 0 13 0 0 0 3 0 08-00-2B-C4-14-2E 1)
bootp: request failed, errno=60
netblk.cliipadr 0
whoami: no host name
panic (cpu 0): vfs_mountroot: cannot mount root
syncing disks... done

Do I have missed some things ?

Any help appreciated, thanks

Uwe
