[Question] Determining Space left on DLT IV

I currently backup our servers using vdump onto DLT IV using TZ89 drive
in a multichanger. I am using hardware compress (rmt0h) and would
thus like to know exactly how mush space is left on the DLT tape after a
backup has been completed. This means determining the mount of physical
data stored in compressed mode on the tape, not the amount of data
compressed.

I am storing multiple filesets on the one tape. The total amount of
data to be backed up each night is about 140Gb. Thus I need to known
the space available on the tape so I can determine when the tape will
fill. Also the compression ratio achieved on the tape would be useful
in predicting how much more data I can fit on the tape.

Can anyone provide a solution to this problem. I have tried the tcopy
command but this gives me the amount of data stored after uncompression.
This info I can get from df.

Thanks
Will
