Hello all,

I'm currently trying to install Tru64 Unix 5.0 on an Alphaserver 1200.

I've put the latest firmware version 5.7. Then following chapter 6 in the
Installation Guide, I set the console environment variables. First surprise
the bus_probe_algorithm variable does not exist and even if I set this
variable it disappears after the init command.

Then I boot from the CD (dka500).

The boot begins correctly. The message Unix boot appears and the Mapping
image address space completed.

Then a pmap_get_align : Unaligned memory.... and something with an hole in
the memory in rpb[x] before the device discovery

and a kernel memory fault after

tu0:...
Loading SIOP:....

It's a two CPUs machine. Do I have to stop or to do something with the
second CPU during the upgrade ?
If there was a problem with the memory by itself I know that the firmware
upgrade should have detect it.

Thanks
