Where can I configure the max number of files a user can open????

I just wonder how can I increase the maximum of file a user can open on
a DU4.0F system (it seem that the default value is 32, and isn't enough
for me)
I suppose I have to search in /etc/sysconfigtab, but I just can see
where??

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
