We have a customer that is running (2) es40's in a 5.0A trucluster environment. The database is Oracle 8.1.6. Performance seems to scale until there are approximately 100 concurrent users connected to the database. Somewhere between connecting 100-150 users, the server refuses all new connections. We get an error back with the following syntax, "failed to attach to the DLM (status=21)".
These are just sql connections issuing various sql commands. Has anyone seen this before under 5.0a? Are there any Patches available for 5.0a yet? We didn't see any on the compaq web site. Any help would be appreciated.
