[Q] Adding a fifth partiton to a disk.

An XP1000 running 4.0F has an 18 GB disk but only 10GB is used.
The space in use is currently divided between the a(root),b(swap),
g and h partitions - a,g and h are all AdvFS. The space not used
is at the end of the disk.

They want to put another partition at the end of the disk. I was
thinking of using disklabel -e or diskconfig to give the remaining
space to partition d which is currently unused.

Will this work? Is it safe? (This machine has no backups! and no
easy way of making a backup.)

(I'd like to backup all the data and repartition the disk - having
5 separate AdvFS partitions on the one disk seems like a bad idea.
But it's not my machine so I have to work with it the way it is.)

Thanks
Ian
