[SUMMARY] Adding a fifth partiton to a disk.

My question was about adding a 5th partition using currently
unallocated space at the end of a disk.

Lots of good advice and information from Shreekanth Kulkarni,
Serguei Patchkovskii, Bevan Broun, Nikola Milutinovic, Alan Davis,
Rochelle Lauer, Dr. Tom Blinn, Larry Clegg, alan_at_nabeth.cxo.dec.com,
Richard Loken and Matthew Pearce.

The consenus is that you can do this and it's safe if you're
careful. And that not having backups is dangerous and foolish.

I've convinced the owners of the box that we should make backups
the highest priority and I'm going to get that organized first.
Then I'll play with the partition table.

On the subject of the best way to divide a disk up for AdvFS:
while it's more efficient and flexible to have a single AdvFS
partition there are also some negatives. Courtesy of Alan Davis:

> With a single domain, if you get corruption it can affect all the filesets
> in the domain.
>
> All filesets in a domain share the "inodes" (mcell structures). If you run
> out of mcell extents the whole domain is affected.
>
> One file in a fileset can use all of the available space in the domain.
> Quotas must be used to allocate space between the filesets.
>
> When running verify all filesets in the domain must be offline.
>
> Defragment takes much more time on large domains.
