Hello, everyone!
    Our machine is Alpha 8200 5/300, OS is Digital UNIX 4.0d .
    Yesterday, I want to add a tape device to the machine. So, I shutdonw the system and turn it off.
After I connect the tape device and boot the system again , a warning message appears on the screen of
the console:
* * * WARNING * * *

* * * BAD LOCATIONS FOUND IN MEMORY * * *
* * * MEMORY INTERLEAVING IS DISABLED TO * * *
* * *PREVENT O.S. OCCUPATION OF BAD MEMORY SPACE * * *
* * * USE SIMM_CALLOUT TO ISOLATE FAILURE * * *

F E D C B A 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 0 NODE #

                     o + + . ++ . . . . ST1
                     . . . . ++ . . . . BPD
                     o + + . ++ . . . . ST2

The rest of boot procedure is normal and the added tape device works correctly.
I reinstall the firmware, it is no use. I don't know "SIMM_CALLOUT".
What's wrong with the MEMORY Module? How can I do?

    If Someone has experience on it ,please tell me! I 'll appreciate it very much.
Thanks in advance!
