Restoring a UFS filesystem (MORE)

Hi again.

I've been attempting to restore my filesystem and have been getting many
strange errors.

For example from the restore of my level 0 tape,

./polinj/ioc/db/scaler_mott.db~: not found on the tape
./ops/autosave/beamlines/lattice.25Feb00_112000: not found on the tape
./ops/.netscape/plugin-list.BAK: not found on the tape

I get similar errors from my incrementals.

Output while restoring one of them looked like,

You have not read any tapes yet.
Unless you know which volume your file(s) are on you should start
with the last volume and work towards the first.
  Specify next volume #: 1
  You have read volumes: 1
  Specify next volume #: 1

The 2nd time it asked me to specify next volume I typed 1, even though the
dump consisted of only 1 volume. It core dumped after a few moments.

I was wondering if the are any dump/restore patches for Digital UNIX V4.0D.

Thanks,
Ernie
