Hi, I have recently been having some problems with one of our machines.
It was upgraded from Tru64 version 4 to version 5 (disclaimer - before I
Started here) and now several programs have "issues" For example, if you
go to load pico you get an error that looks like -
67552:/usr/local/utils/bin/pico: /sbin/loader: Fatal Error: object
libcurses.so from liblist in /usr/local/utils/bin/pico has version "osf.1",
which does not match the found object: /usr/shlib/libcurses.so (with
version "xpg4")
I did some research and discovered that libcurses.so is not installed with
version 5. I have cheated slightly and copied over the library from a
version 4 installation, but I am wondering if this is acceptable or if
there is a more "correct" way to install it properly.
Thanks in advance,
Ryan.
