Dear admins,

thanks to:

The solution is not to import the old unbootable rootdg but to simply mount
the partitions.
I was not aware of the possibilty to mount encapsulated partitions that way.
See LSM V4 Documentation Chapter C19 and C20.

In short:
The old root and usr were AdvFS, so I had to create directories in
/etc/fdmns and setup links to the correct /dev/rz... special device files.
Then simply mount the domain#fileset.
I tried this on a test system and it worked well. However, it failed on the
crashed server with some "AdvFS inconsistecies". So I have to go with the
backup anyway.

Regards
Peter
