Try vmstat, iostat
a good program is the monitor. It's in the freeware CD of the Tru64
distribution , or in the Web.
You can find 'sar' on the associated products CD under the
System_V_Environment directory tree
sar is supplied with Tru 64 but it is part of the SYSV addon kit that needs
a licence (as money is paid to the SYSV owners (whoever they are this week).
sar will be in version 5.1 due out any day now.
ATComputing's "atsar"-tool is probably one of the tools you're looking for.
Sources and RPM available at Internet. I attached a version as compiles on
tru64 4.0F. Place the executables in /usr/local/bin and add crontab-entries
like:-----------------------------------
# for atsar (AH - 120300)
0 * * * 0-6 /usr/local/bin/atsa1
20,40 8-17 * * 1-5 /usr/local/bin/atsa1
5 18 * * 1-5 /usr/local/bin/atsa2 -s 8:00 -e 18:01 -i 1200 -A

don't forget to create a /var/adm/sa directory
