Hi everyone,
The system is Alpha, Tru64 5.0a with C2 turned on.
I have initialized the POP mail database and the mailauth doesn't work,
here's what I get:
# mailauth -init
Really initialize POP authorization DB? y
# mailauth -list
mailauth: /etc/pop.auth: unable to open POP authorization DB
I get that same error if I try adding a user, the database exists:
-rw------- 1 pop mail 0 Sep 21 10:04 pop.auth.dir
-rw------- 1 pop mail 1024 Sep 21 10:04 pop.auth.pag
but it can't be opened, and it seems most of my troubles with compiling some
other software is related to some database problem...
Would that have anything to do with the patches on 5.0a?
What can fix this?
