searching for documentation about kernel C data structures

Hello
        I am searching for (online?) documentation about C functions, data
structures and variables used for kernel debugging (such as "uu..."
structures in the sys/user.h file, /dev/kmem...) and how to use them.
I red the "Kernel Debugging Guide" on Tru64 Documentation CDROM, but it is
more oriented "dbx commands" and the C examples are not clear...
