SUMMARY: vdump and media tape question

All of them agreed on using the seod (seek end of data) option with the mt
command as follows:
# mt -f /dev/nrmt0h seod

        I have taken several save sets of backup using vdump command on the
        same tape media.
        Suppose that I don't know how many save sets are there on the tape.!
        Is there a way to forward the tape to the last save set directly and
        start the backup without checking the save sets one by one?
