We have noticed something interesting with T64 v5.0A. clone, and backing up

Previously, the changed data on this set would be quite extensive, a few
gigs. So either T64 V5.0 is doing something different (writing only changed
blocks not files?), the clone function is not working? or it is
transparently doing something to the SAN, and using its clone facility? (I
would be suprised about that).
Comments or your thoughts would be most welcome.
