Hi,

My alpha machine is 2100 and running 4.0F. Now, I encounter problem when I
try to expand to root file domain. I encounter following error message;

2100 # addvol /dev/rz10a root_domain
addvol: error = E_TOO_MANY_VIRTUAL_DISKS (-1145)
addvol: Can't add volume '/dev/rz10a' to domain 'root_domain'

As I know root file domain is allowed single volume domain. However, my
root domain is on following status

Filesystem 1024-blocks Used Available Capacity Mounted on
root_domain#root 131072 124447 792 100% /

Pls tell me how can I expand the root domain

Thanks..

Dominic
