Compaq C++ V6.3 for Tru64 Beta Test is just about over. This release will
include better ISO conformance, better performance, and a new GNU
compatibility mode.

Please help us find any problems before we release. The kit can be
downloaded from the URL below. You will be asked to accept the license
agreement and then will be given instructions to download the kit.

This update includes the enabling of library versioning which makes it
possible to have more than one version of the C++ runtime on the system at a
time. You will need to relink all your programs if you used a previous Beta
kit.

Our schedule for the remainder of this release is:

Nov 6 Public Beta publicly announce the beta kit
Nov 22 Sanity Kit hopefully the last kit, only show stopper bugs
Dec 6 SSB we give a CD image to manufacturing

Thank you again for your support.
