Hi,

I have tried to compile what I have done to resolve the issue:
Edit /etc/printcap by executing lprsetup, then change the following
parameters with new value.
pl = 72
fs = 023
if = /usr/lbin/lpf
of = /usr/lbin/lpf

Then restart particular printer queue.

Thanks for who has reponded as following:
   Collin Walters
   Hoai TRAN
   Martin Barret
   John Venier
   Mitch Kulberg

Thanks & regards.

Original questions:

Hi Tru64UNIX managers,

I have DEC LA75 dot matrix serial printer which is configured in our Alpha
DS20 Tru64UNIX v4.0F over LAT connection.
Question:
How should I do if I want to have print out with 72 lines per page format
capability? I've tried to modify the 'pl' of /etc/printcap to be 72 instead
of 66 as set earlier. I've already gone through the existing printer
config., it's been ready for 12inches of form length. Then though I've tried
to print a text file with 'page break' character embedded. But, the result
is always coming out with 66 lines format.
Here is the command that I issue:
#lp -dsrcad3_d4 TEST.PRNCould you pls. help me on that?

Herewith the existing /etc/printcap for particular printer:
srcad3_d4|lp5|SRCAD3_D4|Cheque Printer:\
        :af=/usr/adm/lp5acct:\
        :br#9600:\
        :ct=dev:\
