I hope this one is not off topic, and sorry if it was.
I'm in need for this information.
System : Tru64 4.0E, Mail server : Post.office 3.5.3 from software.com
I'm using post.office 3.5.3 from software.com. I need the mail server to be
fully protected against SMTP relay. When I test the server against relay
from some test sites on the net like www.mail-abuse.org, the result says
that server is still open for relay, but I'm sure we closed all gaps that
someone may use for relaying. These tests require the compatibility of
RFC2505.
Have anyone experienced something similar with Post.office and how to stop
relay completely?.
Another issue, how can I stop telnet sessions on SMTP port 25 (# telnet
mail.server 25)?.
I appreciate your help.
Thanks
