Hi,
I am attempting to install a DEGPA-SA card in a AS8400 running TRu64
5.0A with patch set 1 installed. When I attempt to load the driver on
to the system I get the following message when loading the mandatory
objects
Error installing Base System - Hardware Support (OSFHWBASE427)
This subset requires one or more additional subsets to operate
correctly.
The following subsets are required:
"" (OSFHWBASE425)
Please install required subsets first.
0 of 5 subsets installed successfully.
A setld -i | grep OSFHWBASE provide the following info
OSFHWBASE427 Base System - Hardware Support (-
Required -)
OSFHWBASE505 installed Base System - Hardware Support (-
Required -)
My questions are is it ok to mix the diffrent OSFHWBASE4?? subsets
with the OSFHWBASE5?? subsets? If it is ok what version of Tru64 was
OSFHWBASE425 available.
Just seems rather strange that I have to install old versions of
OSFHWBASE to get this card working
