All,
I've just upgraded to Tru Unix 5.0 and was pleasantly surprised how painless
it was.
After the upgrade I noticed that some settings in my old kernel config file
/usr/sys/conf/DENMARK.bck had not been included in the new file.
These parameters were :-
dfldsiz 1073741824
maxdsiz 1073741824
dflssiz 2097152
maxssiz 33554432
I edited the new DENMARK file and added them in the same place and ran
doconfig. However It falls over with syntax error on the line with the 1st
entry :-
denmark.coda.com:/usr/sys/conf>/usr/sbin/doconfig -c DENMARK
*** KERNEL CONFIGURATION AND BUILD PROCEDURE ***
Saving /sys/conf/DENMARK as /sys/conf/DENMARK.bck
Do you want to edit the configuration file? (y/n) [n]:
*** PERFORMING KERNEL BUILD ***
Configuration file has errors.
config: line 59: syntax error
Do you want to edit the configuration file? (y/n) [n]: n
*** NOTE ***
A new kernel for this machine could not be successfully created.
Anyone know whats causing this ?
Are these parameters no longer supported in this release of TU64 ?
Regards,
Mike.
