Telnet problems

Hello All,

Since changing the network address of a pc, well ok range of
addresses...i.e. using DHCP we have been experiencing a minute or so 'hang'
when telnetting from the pc to a Unix server ( DS20 running 4.0F Patch Kit 4
). The error message that is displayed in daemon.log on the unix server is:

ttloop: peer died: No such file or directory

I have a feeling it is do with reverse DNS but I'm not sure and I'm not sure
what to do to fix it! From the shreds I have picked up I have seen
implications that it could be kernel options? My unix server has windows DNS
servers defined in resolv.conf which are also the DHCP servers for the scope
that the pc is a part of. The weird thing is that I can ping the name of the
pc from the unix server and it gets the address from the DNS
server......anyone got any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Mark
