Many people suggested booting from installation cd.
When I booted from installation cd (v4.0G), I could
not interupt it until it came to the installation GUI.
At this point, the only logical choice is to "Unix
Shell"
When you choose Unix shell, it does/did not take me to
the regular system disk. It took/takes me to a
temporary system disk environment. At this point, I
could not see my disks, so the best choice at this
point would have been to follow what John Francini had
emailed me, which I attached in the first part of the
summary, and that create an entry in /etc/fdmns, make
a domain.........(read part I of summary)
Indeed, experience is what allows you to recognize a
mistake the second time you make it. I sure got a lot
today..........
