Hi managers,

We have an AS2100 with a 4/200 CPU, firmware revision 5.3. After we upgrade
the
firmware from version 4.7 to 5.3, we tried to run the ECU utility from the
PO>>
prompt (with the runecu command). Unfortunately, it seems that the floppy
when
the ECU utility was supposed to be had bad sectors o simply was the wrong one
(perhaps the Windows NT ECU version); so when we invoke it from the ARC
firmware, it began to run the utility and then aborted sending several
messages
such as "hardware configuration mismatch" or "can't find a file for that
configuration", or even it hanged.

Since then, anytime we power-up the server, it doesn't shows in the display
the
rutinary testing messages (testing the network, testing the disks, etc.),
just
shows the CPU, memory and I/O subsys testing stages in the OCP. And when the
system comes up in the SRM mode, it doesn't shows anything but a flashing
prompt; till we press Enter. Then it shows the PO>> prompt.

Then, anytime we try to switch from SRM mode to ARC, the system shows the
message "loading ARC firmware", then resets and hangs in the blue screen
stage
with no signal or message.

It's any solution or workaround to bring the system out to that state? Any
suggestion or clue will be deeply appreciated.
Thanks in advance,

Ada
