Hello everyone;

Ivegot a Personal Workstation with 5.0 using DHCP on my mediaone
cablemodem. After setting it up with DHCP i noticed that altho
/etc/join/client.pcy specifies "request routers" and "request
default-route", DHCP doesn't get a defaultroute set up. On OpenBSD,
linux, and Windows, the dhcp client always does this for me automagically.
I was wondering if there is anything else i need to do here?

BTW, i pleasently surprised to find that Tru64 was a lot faster than my
redhat setup had been.

so if anyone has used a Tru64/DU system (or VMS for that matter -- ill be
dual booting) on cable, please contact me.
thanks
