Summary:
It depends of the number of files being backed up and how long you want to
keep the database entries. Each file being backed up takes approximately
220 bytes.

Also it was mentioned that the latest version (6.01) is suppose to use
about 50% less space for the index database.

Original question:
I'm looking at possibly using NSR for my backup. From what I could see in
the archive it seems that the index can use up a lot of space. Is there a
way to estimate how much disk space I will be needing for the index ?
