Additional SCSI devices in KZPBA-CB/HSZ22 chain?

Dear all,

we're running a RA3000 raid array (Raid-5 over 6 disks) connected to a
KZPBA-CB controller in a Personal Workstation 500au (Digital Unix
4.0E). I know that this kind of setup is not officially supported it
now ran without major problems for 2 1/2 years.

Now we would like to add a DLT drive to the machine. Since we already
have an internal DAT drive and space is a bit tight in the box I would
like to attach it to the KZPBA-CB controller. So my questions:

1. can I in general attach additional SCSI devices to a SCSI
controller a RA3000 is connected to?

2. can I attach an additional SCSI device AFTER and/or BEFORE the
   RA3000?

3. has anyone had a similar setup and how did it work - or didn't it
   work at all?

4. any recommendations for a 80GB/s DLT drive?

Thanks for any hints/comments.

Cheers

Clemens
