Hello Managers,
I'd like to thank Eskil Swahn, Pat Barrowclough, Corinne Haesaerts, Alan
Davis, Alan, Bill Kirk, Dan Harrington, Matthias Dolder, Dennis Sylvester,
Pat O'Brien, Gert-Jan Hilbrands, Justin Richardson for their answers.
I seems that:
- 4.0F can only be used with data disks but won't boot from this
configuration (you have to use a local system disk to boot)
- 4.0F needs the correct emx driver and firmware to function
- The disadvantage of a 4.0-F system is that it doesn't support the
alternative pathing mechanism as a v5.x system does
- Also, 4.0F has limits on the number of targets/bus (8) it supports.
So i'll go for 5.1 SP2
Maurice
