In a 5.1 cluster - Do you have to roll-in one patch?

This is TruCluster V5.1 question.

A little while ago I attempted to roll-in patch_kit 3 on my three system
TruCluster. Some of you might remember the mail I sent. I had disasterous
results, and the only response was from Dr. Blinn, who thought the some
patch feaures may be conflicting with some third party disks we are using
and he recommended I roll-out the patch. As my summary stated that corrected
my problem.

Earlier this week I changed my stradegy slightly and attemped to roll-in
patch_kit 3 again. This time it worked and I'm now sucessfully at patch_kit
3 on my cluster.

Now for my question. I want to install the patch that fixes the buffer
overflow problem with xntp. Because of the problems I had rolling in
patch_kit 3 the first time I'm a little gun shy on jumping into another
rolling patch. So, what I want to know is:

Do I have to do a rolling upgrade to install ONE (1) ond only ONE (1) patch
on a TruCluster?

Can I just make sure xntp is down throughout the cluster then do a dupatch
on one system and start xntp up?

Thanks for your help in advance.

UNIX is very user friendly, It's just very particular about who it makes
friends with.
