We have been using Univ. of Alaska's "uaio" to determine disk I/O rates.
In Tru64 v5.1 it core dumps. I assume it's having problems with the new way
device are handled in 5.X. Recompiling gives a number of warning messages
before completing, but does complete. However it still core dumps. The Tru64
utility iostat is all but useless in determining I/O rates. Is anybody out
there using any tools on v5.1 that can do this? (And we have a 5.1 cluster
as well so.....)
