I apologize for not including the summary with my note. As it turns out
there seem to be 2 schools of thought on how to actually get this answer and
they return different versions.
The first is the one that I originally knew about and just forgot. You
simply FTP to the server in question and look at the header, it displays a
version for you.
(i.e. FTP server (Compaq Tru64 UNIX Version 5.60) ready.) From this we get
that the version is 5.60
Now if we try it another way, that being a what on the daemon itself it
returns another version.

Which of these is right, I really don't know. We can open it to debate if
anyone has an opinion? Personally, I would like to hear what everyone
thinks.
Thanks.
